History

Official history of company A Dzīvība started on February, 2001, when broking company was registered by the Commission of Finance and Capital Markets, and received a licence for professional activities No 28.

However, leader of the company Rita Stuģe became interested in insurance issues already in 1994. At that time interest quickly grow into willingness to acquire deeper knowledge of and to make available in Latvia high quality kinds of insurance providing not only protection in most difficult situations of life, but also allowing to plan finances and make beneficial investment.

This was possible through insurance agency ALBAG over the period from 1995 to 2001. R.Stuģe also was heading a working group of brokers and insurers for drafting and passing of legislative amendments on tax issues, which were successfully accepted.

Staring from 2002, when A Dzīvība joined Latvian Insurance Broker’s Association (www.brokers.lv) until the year 2007 Rita Stuģe was active in the Board of Association, thus taking care for quality of insurance broking services.

We must also note that company has seen considerable growth over these years, attracting many qualified and professional employees.

We have approached private individuals, companies and state agencies, having more than 1000 various clients, whose interests in insurance issues are represented by specialists of A Dzīvība.

Unique experience of our employees, ambitious work and attention to client’s wishes has helped A Dzīvība to get in top 5 broking companies of Latvia in 2005 for the market share of personal insurance (life, health insurance).
